About the estate
Domein Doornkraal is a historic Le Roux family wine farm at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains near De Rust in the Klein Karoo, making wine since the late 1800s. It is best known for fortified and dessert wines, including the Veritas Double Gold Pinta, and the popular Tickled Pink sparkling wine. Visitors can taste and buy wines at the Doornkraal Padstal, and the farm also offers accommodation and horse riding.
