About the estate

Louiesenhof is the Smit family farm on the R304 near Koelenhof outside Stellenbosch. Once part of Koopmanskloof, it has distilled brandy since 1860, and cellar master Stefan Smit is known for his Perroquet Cape Tawny.

Stellenbosch: Premier wine region known for Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux blends.
