About the estate

Delheim is a family-owned wine estate on the Simonsberg, off the Knorhoek Road near Stellenbosch, run by the Sperling family. Its first wine was made from the 1948 vintage. The late Spatz Sperling, who arrived from Germany in 1951, helped found the Stellenbosch Wine Route in 1971, the first wine route in South Africa.

Stellenbosch: Premier wine region known for Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux blends.
